Is there an application fee?
No, Responsive Theme does not charge a fee to apply for a loan.
What is a Blank Check?
A Blank Check is an actual check that you use to transfer your Responsive Theme loan funds to a vehicle seller or owner.
A Blank Check can be used to:
- Purchase a new or used vehicle
- Refinance an existing auto lo an
- Buy out a leased vehicle
What if I'm approved for a maximum of $25,000 but write my Blank Check for $20,000?
Your loan will be activated for the amount that you filled in on the Blank Check we sent to you. If you write the check for $20,000, your loan will be for $20,000.
Do you make vehicle loans to companies?
No, Responsive Theme makes vehicle loans only to individuals.
Is a down payment required?
No, Responsive Theme does not require a down payment.
Are there any vehicles Responsive Theme does not finance?
Yes, Responsive Theme does not provide financing for the following vehicles: RVs, motor homes, ATVs, commercial vehicles, boats, amphibious vehicles, taxis, limousines, camper vans, tow trucks, freight liners, tractor trailers, dump trucks, armored vehicles, conversion vans, and kit cars that do not have a Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) or title issued to it.
When will my first monthly loan payment be due?
Shortly after you purchase or refinance a vehicle with your Blank Check, Responsive Theme will fund the check, and your loan repayment obligation will begin. Your monthly payments will fall on the due date you specify on your loan application - and your first payment will be due on the first occurrence of your due date that is at least 15 days after Responsive Theme funds your Blank Check. For example, if you select the 15th of each month for your payment due date and your check is funded on the 10th day of October, then your first payment would be due on the 15th of November. Note: If the first payment falls on a weekend or holiday, the payment will be due on the next business day.
How much is the lien filing fee in my state?
The lien filing fee is different in every state. This one-time fee ranges from less than $5 to $65, depending upon the state. Find out what the lien filing fee is for your state.
Can I get a second or third loan with Responsive Theme before I pay off my first loan?
Yes, you may apply for another loan; however, our credit department will review your information to determine if you qualify. To apply for a new loan in one easy step, please visit Your Accounts on our Web site.
If I choose to sell my car to another individual, can my loan be assumed, or taken over, by that person?
No, your loan is not assumable by another party.
What loan amount should I request?
We suggest that you apply for an amount greater than the amount you think you'll need in order to give yourself some flexibility. Remember that your actual loan amount will be the amount you fill in on your check. For a new or used purchase from a dealer, this can include the sale price of your vehicle, taxes, licensing and registration fees, credit insurance, extended warranty/service contracts, and any other fees, less the value of your trade in and/or down payment.
What is the largest loan amount I can get?
You may apply for a loan amount up to $75,000. However, we suggest you apply for a loan based on your need. If you apply for a loan greater than that which you qualify for, we will let you know. You may then decide whether to proceed with the loan.
Does it make a difference if I tell you what my "Other Monthly Income" is?
Alimony, child support, or separate maintenance income need not be revealed if you do not wish to have that considered as a basis for repaying your loan.
Are there any penalties for prepaying my loan?
No, you may pay off either a portion of your loan or the entire amount at any time without incurring any penalties. Any payment you make above your regular monthly payment is usually applied to the principal balance of the loan.
I would like to buy a vehicle from an individual who is currently leasing his/her car; do you offer financing for this type of transaction?
Unfortunately, we do not; however, if you were to secure a vehicle loan from another lender we would be happy to refinance that loan for you at our low refinance rate.
Can I refinance my existing Responsive Theme loan?
No, Responsive Theme only refinances loans that you have with other lenders, not including Capital One or its subsidiaries.
Can I finance the purchase of a vehicle that will be used for business purposes?
No, Responsive Theme finances only personal-use vehicles.
